He was born on August 4, 1896 in Thazhavai, Kollam district. At the age of 12, he was fortunate enough to see and greet Sree Narayana Gurudev in person. He also had the opportunity to visit Sivagiri frequently and experience the Guru's affection. He took care to record the Guru's messages and advice. He was a teacher at the Aluva Adwaitha Ashram Sanskrit School. He participated in the Vaikom Satyagraha held in 1924 with the Guru's permission. He participated in the management of the All-Religious Conference held at the Aluva Advaita Ashram and attended the conference. He wrote a biography of the Guru titled 'Sreenarayana Guru' and published it in 1975. He passed away on April 1, 1986.
